Getting your statement out of Apple Pay

Apple Pay itself has no statements — it's a payment method, and every Apple Pay purchase posts to the statement of the underlying card or bank account, which is the statement you should convert. The exceptions are Apple's own money products: Apple Card exports monthly statements (PDF) and transactions (CSV/OFX/QFX/QBO) from the Wallet app, and Apple Cash can produce its own transaction statement on request.

Regular Apple Pay purchases: use the underlying card's statement

  1. Identify which card or bank account is behind the Apple Pay transaction (Wallet shows the card used per transaction).
  2. Download the statement from that bank or card issuer as you normally would.
  3. Convert that statement — Apple Pay lines appear there as ordinary card transactions.

There is no consolidated 'Apple Pay statement' to download; Wallet's transaction list is a convenience view, not an exportable document for regular cards.

Apple Card: download statements and export transactions

  1. Open Wallet on your iPhone and tap your Apple Card.
  2. Tap the Card Balance panel, then open Statements and select a month.
  3. Tap Download PDF Statement to save the statement, or tap Export Transactions and choose CSV, OFX, QFX, or QBO.
  4. Use the Share icon to save to Files, AirDrop, email, or print.

On the web, sign in at card.apple.com, click Statements in the sidebar, and download PDF statements; the other export formats are done from Wallet.

Apple Cash: request a transaction statement

  1. Open Wallet and tap your Apple Cash card.
  2. Tap the More button, then Card Details.
  3. Scroll down and tap Request Transaction Statement.
  4. Apple sends a PDF covering up to the last 24 months of Apple Cash transactions.

Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against Apple Pay's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.

What Apple Pay gives you natively

Apple Card offers monthly PDF statements plus transaction exports in CSV, OFX, QFX, or QBO from the Wallet app; card.apple.com provides PDF statement downloads on the web. Apple Cash provides a requested PDF transaction statement. Regular Apple Pay activity has no export of its own — its format is whatever your underlying bank or card issuer provides.

How far back you can go

Apple Card statements accumulate monthly in Wallet and on card.apple.com, becoming available shortly after each billing period closes, and Apple Card Family co-owners can access shared statements from the month Family was set up. Apple Cash statements cover up to the last 24 months of transactions. For regular Apple Pay purchases, retention is governed entirely by the underlying bank or card issuer.

Apple Pay statement quirks worth knowing

  • People search for an 'Apple Pay statement' that doesn't exist — the transaction posted to your card or bank, and that institution's statement is the document to convert.
  • On bank and card statements, Apple Pay purchases usually show the merchant name and may carry an Apple Pay-related prefix (like APLPAY) depending on the issuer, and the processor's legal name can differ from the storefront you remember.
  • Apple Card's own exports are unusually clean — merchant names in Wallet are human-readable, but the exported CSV reflects statement data, so match on amounts and dates when reconciling.
  • Apple Cash is a separate product with separate statements: P2P sends, receipts, and Apple Cash card spending do not appear on any Apple Card statement.

Don't just convert it — understand it

The same upload also produces a full analysis of your Apple Paystatement: every merchant identified with confidence levels, subscriptions with renewal estimates and yearly cost, duplicate and price-rise flags, bank & FX fees, and a printable report. That's the part a plain converter can't do.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download an Apple Pay statement?

You can't — Apple Pay has no statements. Each purchase posts to the card or bank behind it, so download and convert that card's statement. Only Apple Card and Apple Cash have their own statements.

How do I export Apple Card transactions to CSV?

In Wallet, tap Apple Card > Card Balance > Statements, select a month, tap Export Transactions, and choose CSV (or OFX, QFX, QBO), then share or save the file.

Can I get Apple Card statements on the web?

Yes. Sign in at card.apple.com, click Statements in the sidebar, and download the PDF for any listed month. Other export formats are done from the Wallet app.

How do I get a statement for Apple Cash?

In Wallet, tap your Apple Cash card, tap More > Card Details, then Request Transaction Statement. Apple sends a PDF covering up to the last 24 months.

How do I convert a Apple Pay statement to CSV or Excel?

Download a statement from your Apple Pay app or online banking (PDF or CSV both work), upload it above, and download the result as CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Every transaction is parsed, and merchants are identified automatically.

Does it work with Apple Pay PDF statements?

Yes. Structured exports are parsed exactly; PDF layouts go through AI structure analysis, and scanned PDFs are read page-by-page with AI vision — every date and amount is re-validated by code afterwards.

Is my statement safe?

Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is stored, the original file is deleted within 24 hours on every plan, analysed reports stay in your dashboard only for your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free), and we never ask for your bank login.

Is it free?

Converting a statement is free with an account (1 page per 24 hours). Paid plans add more pages, bulk uploads and AI web research on stubborn merchants.
