Getting your statement out of Revolut

Revolut generates statements per currency account, so a multi-currency user has a separate statement for each currency they hold. Statements are generated on demand in the app or web app rather than mailed monthly.

Download a statement for a specific currency (app)

  1. Open the Revolut app and go to Home on the bottom menu.
  2. Tap Accounts and select the currency account you need.
  3. Tap More (...) and select Statement.
  4. Choose the timeframe you want the statement to cover.
  5. Pick the document type (PDF or Excel) and tap Generate, then download or share the file.

Each currency account generates its own statement, so repeat this for every currency you hold.

Consolidated statements from your profile

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top-left of the app.
  2. Open Documents & statements.
  3. Choose the account and period you need, then generate the document.

Pockets and closed Savings accounts also surface their documents under Documents & statements.

Business accounts (web)

  1. Log in to the Revolut Business web portal.
  2. Go to your account statements section and select the account and period.
  3. Choose the format — Business supports PDF, CSV, XML (CAMT.053), and TXT (MT940).
  4. Optionally tick the signed-and-stamped option (PDF only), then click Generate.

Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against Revolut's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.

What Revolut gives you natively

Personal accounts generate statements as PDF or Excel per currency account, and you can also download a confirmation document for any single transaction, top-up, or exchange. Revolut Business goes further, offering PDF, CSV, XML (CAMT.053), and TXT (MT940), with an optional signed and stamped version available for PDF only. If you need CSV from a personal account, the practical route is exporting via Excel or converting the PDF.

How far back you can go

Revolut doesn't publish a hard cutoff for how far back statements can go — you pick a custom timeframe when generating, and statements draw on your account history per currency. For long histories, generating one statement per year per currency keeps files manageable. If you close your account, download your statements first, as access to the app ends with the account.

Revolut statement quirks worth knowing

  • Currency exchanges appear on two statements at once: money out on the sold currency's statement and money in on the bought currency's statement, which trips up anyone reconciling a single file.
  • Card payments made abroad show the merchant name with the converted amount in the account currency, so the original foreign-currency amount lives in the transaction detail rather than the statement line.
  • Top-ups from an external card typically appear as a generic top-up line rather than naming your other bank, which makes source-of-funds checks harder from the statement alone.
  • Pockets and Savings have their own statement documents, so your main currency statement won't show a complete picture of balances held elsewhere in the app.

Don't just convert it — understand it

The same upload also produces a full analysis of your Revolutstatement: every merchant identified with confidence levels, subscriptions with renewal estimates and yearly cost, duplicate and price-rise flags, bank & FX fees, and a printable report. That's the part a plain converter can't do.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a Revolut statement in CSV?

Personal accounts offer PDF or Excel per currency in the app (Accounts, then More, then Statement). Revolut Business adds CSV, CAMT.053 XML, and MT940. From a personal account, export Excel and save it as CSV, or convert the PDF.

Why do I have multiple Revolut statements?

Revolut issues one statement per currency account. If you hold GBP, EUR, and USD, you'll need to generate three statements to see everything.

Can I get a stamped Revolut statement for a visa or mortgage?

Business accounts can generate a signed and stamped PDF. For personal accounts, generate the PDF statement — if the receiving institution insists on a stamp, contact Revolut support through the app.

How do I prove a single Revolut transaction?

Revolut lets you download a separate confirmation document for any individual card payment, top-up, transfer, or currency exchange from the transaction's detail screen.

How do I convert a Revolut statement to CSV or Excel?

Download a statement from your Revolut app or online banking (PDF or CSV both work), upload it above, and download the result as CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Every transaction is parsed, and merchants are identified automatically.

Does it work with Revolut PDF statements?

Yes. Structured exports are parsed exactly; PDF layouts go through AI structure analysis, and scanned PDFs are read page-by-page with AI vision — every date and amount is re-validated by code afterwards.

Is my statement safe?

Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is stored, the original file is deleted within 24 hours on every plan, analysed reports stay in your dashboard only for your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free), and we never ask for your bank login.

Is it free?

Converting a statement is free with an account (1 page per 24 hours). Paid plans add more pages, bulk uploads and AI web research on stubborn merchants.
