Getting your statement out of Wise
Wise produces statements per currency balance and per Jar, downloadable from both the website and the app for up to 365 days at a time. The web version offers far more file formats than the app.
Download from the website
- Log in at wise.com and click your initials in the top corner.
- Select Statements and reports, then Statements.
- Click Create a statement, choose one or more balances or Jars, and pick the time period.
- Choose the file format and enter your Wise password to confirm.
- Download the file immediately, or receive an email link if the file is large.
On the web you can select multiple balances and Jars at once and download their statements in one go.

- Tap your initials, then Statements and reports, then Statements.
- Select Create a statement, choose the balance or Jar and time period.
- Enter your password to confirm, then download or receive the email link.
Shortcut from a specific balance
- Open the currency balance or Jar you need.
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Choose Statements and reports and confirm with your password.
Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against Wise's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.
What Wise gives you natively
On the web, Wise offers PDF, XLSX (Excel), CSV, MT940, QIF, and CAMT.053 (version 10 only) — one of the widest format ranges of any fintech. The app is limited to PDF, CSV, and XLSX. You can add an official stamp and signature to the PDF by ticking 'Stamp and sign this document', which requires a verified address on your profile.
How far back you can go
Each statement covers a maximum 365-day period. Wise doesn't publish a limit on how far back you can go — for older history you simply generate multiple statements, each spanning up to a year. Statements include all transactions on the balance, including activity you've hidden in the app.
Wise statement quirks worth knowing
- Wise PDF statements identify transfers by internal IDs in the form TRANSFER-123456789 rather than a counterparty descriptor alone, so matching lines to real-world payees often requires the reference field.
- Statements are per currency balance, which means a single cross-currency conversion shows up in two different statements — money out of one balance and money into another.
- Jars are statement entities of their own; moving money to a Jar appears as a movement on the main balance statement, and the Jar has its own separate statement.
- Activity paid directly from an external card or bank (not from a balance) doesn't appear on balance statements — Wise points you to the Transactions page for those.

What is the TRANSFER number on my Wise statement?
It's Wise's unique internal ID for that transfer. It identifies the transaction to Wise support and appears on statements and receipts, but it isn't a bank reference your recipient's bank will recognise.
Can I get an officially stamped Wise statement?
Yes — tick 'Stamp and sign this document' when generating a PDF statement. You'll need a verified address on your Wise profile for the option to work.
