Convert Chime bank statements to CSV or Excel
Turn Chime statement exports — PDF or CSV — into clean CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Unlike a plain converter, every transaction comes back matched to a real merchant name with category and confidence, and subscriptions, recurring charges and bank fees are detected automatically.

Getting your statement out of Chime
Chime is app-first and paperless by design: monthly statements are generated for Checking and Savings (and by billing cycle for Credit Builder), and Chime explicitly does not provide physical statements. Statements live under Profile > Documents > Account statements in the app and under Profile > Documents on chime.com.
Download a statement (app)
- Open the Chime app and tap Profile.
- Tap Documents > Account statements.
- Select the account and the month.
- Tap the export icon at the top right to save or share the PDF.
Download a statement (web)
- Go to chime.com and click Log In.
- Click Profile > Documents.
- Under Account Statements, select the account and month.
- Select the statement to download it.
Get statements without app access
- Use the chime.com website login if you still have credentials.
- Otherwise contact Chime support — its help center has a dedicated article for getting statements when you can't access the app or website.
Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against Chime's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.
What Chime gives you natively
PDF only. Chime's statement flow produces a monthly PDF you can download, share, or print — the in-app export icon exports that PDF, not a data file. There is no built-in CSV, Excel, QFX, or OFX export of transactions; third-party guides uniformly confirm that monthly PDF statements are the only exportable format Chime offers. If you need spreadsheet data, you download the PDF statements and convert them yourself.
How far back you can go
Statements are generated monthly for Checking and Savings accounts and by billing cycle for Credit Builder, and Chime emails you when each new statement is ready. Chime doesn't publish a hard limit on how far back the statement list reaches; the Documents area lets you pick the account and month from what's available. Because Chime provides no paper statements at all, the downloadable PDFs are your only statement record — save copies of any month you might need later.
Chime statement quirks worth knowing
- Chime is a fintech app whose banking services come through partner banks, so the bank named on the statement (a Chime partner bank) won't match the "Chime" branding people expect.
- One statement can contain separate sections for Checking, Savings, and Credit Builder — Chime's own help notes you may need to check multiple sections, including the final page, to find each ending balance.
- Credit Builder statements run on a billing cycle rather than the calendar month used by Checking and Savings, so their periods don't line up.
- With no CSV export and no paper trail, every data workflow starts from the PDF — Chime is a pure PDF-conversion case.
Don't just convert it — understand it
The same upload also produces a full analysis of your Chimestatement: every merchant identified with confidence levels, subscriptions with renewal estimates and yearly cost, duplicate and price-rise flags, bank & FX fees, and a printable report. That's the part a plain converter can't do.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a bank statement from Chime?
In the app: Profile > Documents > Account statements, pick the account and month, then tap the export icon at the top right. On chime.com: Profile > Documents, then select the statement to download.
Can I export Chime transactions to CSV or Excel?
No — Chime has no built-in CSV, Excel, or Quicken export. The monthly PDF statement is the only exportable format, so convert the PDF if you need spreadsheet data.
Does Chime mail paper statements?
No. Chime says it does not provide physical statements — if you need a printed copy, download the PDF and print it yourself.
Why does my Chime statement show a different bank's name?
Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank; its accounts are provided by partner banks, and the partner bank's name appears on your statement. Landlords and lenders may need this explained.
How do I convert a Chime statement to CSV or Excel?
Download a statement from your Chime app or online banking (PDF or CSV both work), upload it above, and download the result as CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Every transaction is parsed, and merchants are identified automatically.
Does it work with Chime PDF statements?
Yes. Structured exports are parsed exactly; PDF layouts go through AI structure analysis, and scanned PDFs are read page-by-page with AI vision — every date and amount is re-validated by code afterwards.
Is my statement safe?
Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is stored, the original file is deleted within 24 hours on every plan, analysed reports stay in your dashboard only for your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free), and we never ask for your bank login.
Is it free?
Converting a statement is free with an account (1 page per 24 hours). Paid plans add more pages, bulk uploads and AI web research on stubborn merchants.
