Getting your statement out of DBS Bank
DBS (and POSB) deliver eStatements as PDFs through the eDocuments section of digibank online and the digibank mobile app, retained for 7 years from your eDocuments enrolment. Printed copies of older statements can be ordered for a per-month fee.
Download eStatements in digibank mobile
- Log in to digibank mobile with Touch/Face ID or your digibank User ID and PIN.
- Tap More, then tap eDocuments (under Quick Access or Other Services).
- Select eStatement and filter by statement type and year.
- Tap the download arrow next to the statement to save the PDF.
Download eStatements in digibank online
- Log in to digibank online and complete authentication.
- Go to the eDocuments section.
- Select eStatements and filter by type and year.
- Download the PDF you need.
Request printed copies of past statements
- In digibank mobile, tap More, then Request for Printed Statement, select the account and period, and confirm.
- Or in digibank online, go to Home, eDocuments, Manage, then Print and receive past statements and complete the request.
- Allow up to 5 working days for retrieval.
Fees apply per month of statement requested; enrolling in eStatements avoids these fees for future periods.
Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against DBS Bank's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.
What DBS Bank gives you natively
eStatements are PDF only — DBS notes you need a PDF reader to view and print them. digibank does not centre on spreadsheet exports the way Canadian and Australian banks do: recent transaction history can be viewed in digibank, and third-party tooling commonly works from DBS/POSB CSV downloads of recent activity or from the PDF eStatements, but the official statement record is the PDF. Some DBS statement PDFs delivered by email are password-protected, which matters when feeding them to conversion tools.
How far back you can go
DBS states eStatements are stored for 7 years from the date of your eDocuments enrolment, and that past eStatements for closed accounts remain available for the months prior to closure. POSB Passbook Savings accounts do not get eStatements. For statements beyond the online archive, DBS's printed statement retrieval service applies documented fees: S$20 per month for statements within 1 year, S$30 per month for 1 to 3 years, and S$50 per month for statements older than 3 years, with retrieval taking up to 5 working days.
DBS Bank statement quirks worth knowing
- PayNow transfers appear with wording like PayNow Transfer plus the payee's registered PayNow name — DBS notes no payee bank or account number is shown, and DBS-to-DBS PayNow transfers are formatted differently from interbank ones.
- GIRO deductions appear under the billing organisation's name as standing arrangements, and FAST interbank transfers carry their own descriptor style distinct from PayNow lines.
- NETS point-of-sale payments and card purchases show the merchant name, often with location or terminal details appended.
- Statement lines frequently include reference codes (such as transfer or batch references) that help matching but clutter description text when parsing to CSV.
Don't just convert it — understand it
The same upload also produces a full analysis of your DBS Bankstatement: every merchant identified with confidence levels, subscriptions with renewal estimates and yearly cost, duplicate and price-rise flags, bank & FX fees, and a printable report. That's the part a plain converter can't do.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download my DBS eStatement as a PDF?
Log in to digibank mobile, tap More, then eDocuments, choose eStatement, filter by type and year, and tap the download arrow next to the statement. digibank online has the same eDocuments section.
How many years of statements does DBS keep?
eStatements are stored for 7 years from when you enrolled in eDocuments. Statements before enrolment or beyond that window have to be ordered as printed copies.
How much does it cost to get old DBS statements?
DBS charges per month of statement retrieved: S$20 for statements within the last year, S$30 for 1 to 3 years back, and S$50 for anything older than 3 years, with up to 5 working days for delivery.
Can I export DBS transactions to CSV or Excel?
DBS's official statement record is the PDF eStatement. Recent activity is viewable in digibank, and spreadsheet workflows generally start from either a recent-activity download or a conversion of the PDF statement.
How do I convert a DBS Bank statement to CSV or Excel?
Download a statement from your DBS Bank app or online banking (PDF or CSV both work), upload it above, and download the result as CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Every transaction is parsed, and merchants are identified automatically.
Does it work with DBS Bank PDF statements?
Yes. Structured exports are parsed exactly; PDF layouts go through AI structure analysis, and scanned PDFs are read page-by-page with AI vision — every date and amount is re-validated by code afterwards.
Is my statement safe?
Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is stored, the original file is deleted within 24 hours on every plan, analysed reports stay in your dashboard only for your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free), and we never ask for your bank login.
Is it free?
Converting a statement is free with an account (1 page per 24 hours). Paid plans add more pages, bulk uploads and AI web research on stubborn merchants.
