Getting your statement out of Klarna
Klarna keeps your purchase and payment history inside the Klarna app and at app.klarna.com, where you can review orders, payment plans, and upcoming payments; formal statements exist mainly for Klarna's credit products (monthly financing / Klarna balance). Every Klarna installment also charges your linked card, so those payments additionally appear on that card's statement.

- Log in to the Klarna app or at app.klarna.com.
- Open the payments/orders section to see past purchases, payment history, and upcoming payments.
- Open an individual purchase to see its payment plan and what's been paid so far.
View statements for Klarna credit / monthly financing
- Log in at klarna.com or in the app.
- Select your credit account (View credit account).
- Select View all statements to see your statement history.
Formal statements apply to Klarna's credit products; standard Pay in 4 purchases live in your purchase history rather than on a monthly statement.

What Klarna gives you natively
Klarna is history-first rather than export-first: purchase history and payment plans are viewable in the app and web portal, and credit-account statements are viewable documents, but Klarna does not document any CSV or spreadsheet export of your history. For spreadsheet work, the practical sources are the statement of the linked card (where installments post as charges) or copies requested from Klarna support.
How far back you can go
Klarna does not publish a retention window for purchase history; your orders and payment history remain visible in your logged-in account, and credit-account statement history is listed under View all statements. For records beyond what the account shows, Klarna's 24/7 support can be asked for copies.
Klarna statement quirks worth knowing
- One purchase becomes several charges: a Pay in 4 order shows on your linked card statement as multiple smaller charges spread over weeks, each typically carrying a KLARNA descriptor rather than the store's name.
- The merchant you actually bought from is visible in the Klarna app, but often not on the card statement line — matching card charges to purchases usually requires the app's purchase history.
- Refunds flow back through Klarna, so a return may appear as an adjusted payment plan in the app rather than a clean reversal on your card statement.
- There is no consolidated exportable statement for pay-later purchases — statements proper exist for Klarna's credit products, while Pay in 4 lives only in purchase history plus your card's statement.
