Convert TSB bank statements to CSV or Excel
Turn TSB statement exports — PDF or CSV — into clean CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Unlike a plain converter, every transaction comes back matched to a real merchant name with category and confidence, and subscriptions, recurring charges and bank fees are detected automatically.

Getting your statement out of TSB
TSB delivers statements as PDFs into a Digital Inbox rather than a statements tab — you fetch them from 'Your Inbox' in Internet Banking or the profile inbox in the app. Transaction exports run separately from the bottom of the transaction list.
Download a PDF statement from the TSB Digital Inbox (Internet Banking)
- Log in to Internet Banking.
- Click 'Your Inbox' at the top right.
- Find the statement you need.
- Open it and save the PDF.
Paperless customers receive statements and correspondence as PDFs in this inbox automatically.
Download a statement in the TSB Mobile Banking app
- Tap the profile icon.
- Tap 'Inbox'.
- Find and tap the statement.
- Tap the download icon.
TSB notes the download step may look different depending on your device and operating system.
Export transactions as CSV or QIF
- Log in to Internet Banking and open the account's transaction record.
- Scroll to the bottom and select 'Export'.
- Choose a start and end date.
- Pick the format from the 'Format' dropdown and download.
Accounting guides report the date range must fall within a single tax year (6 April to 5 April).
Menu wording shifts between app versions; the destinations above stay stable — confirm against TSB's official help. Statements up to 5 MB / 5,000 rows are supported; card numbers are redacted before storage, the original file is deleted within 24 hours, and reports stay in your dashboard only as long as your plan keeps them.
What TSB gives you natively
Statements arrive as PDFs in the Digital Inbox. The transaction export offers two machine-readable formats — 'Internet banking text/spreadsheet (.CSV)' and QIF — per accounting-firm guides and user reports; there is no OFX. A workaround for a statement-style PDF of an arbitrary period is to search the transactions and use the print option, saving to PDF. Statement PDFs and the export are entirely separate systems: one is correspondence, the other raw data.
How far back you can go
TSB's public pages describe the Digital Inbox but do not state a specific number of years of statement availability, so treat the inbox as holding your issued statements and contact TSB for anything it does not show. Exports are constrained by the tax-year date-range rule (reported by accounting guides), so multi-year data means one export per tax year. For older or paper copies, request them through TSB support channels.
TSB statement quirks worth knowing
- Statements live in an inbox, not a statements tab — people looking for a 'Statements' menu miss 'Your Inbox' at the top right entirely.
- TSB migrated off the Lloyds platform but its statement conventions still echo Lloyds-style type codes, so descriptors look Lloyds-like without being identical.
- The export date-picker is bounded by UK tax years (6 April–5 April), an unusual constraint no other major UK bank applies.
- CSV and QIF are the only export formats — no OFX, no Excel-native file — so accounting software imports usually go through CSV mapping.
Don't just convert it — understand it
The same upload also produces a full analysis of your TSBstatement: every merchant identified with confidence levels, subscriptions with renewal estimates and yearly cost, duplicate and price-rise flags, bank & FX fees, and a printable report. That's the part a plain converter can't do.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a TSB statement as a PDF?
In Internet Banking, click 'Your Inbox' at the top right and open the statement. In the app, tap the profile icon, tap 'Inbox', find the statement and tap the download icon.
Can I export TSB transactions to Excel?
Yes — scroll to the bottom of the account's transaction record, select 'Export', set dates within one tax year, and choose the CSV format, which opens in Excel. QIF is the other option.
Why can't I export more than a year of TSB transactions at once?
The export date range is limited to a single tax year (6 April to 5 April), per accounting guides, so longer histories need one export per tax year.
How do I get a TSB statement for a specific date range as a PDF?
Search the transaction record for the period, then use the print option and save to PDF — issued statements in the inbox are fixed monthly documents.
How do I convert a TSB statement to CSV or Excel?
Download a statement from your TSB app or online banking (PDF or CSV both work), upload it above, and download the result as CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX or JSON. Every transaction is parsed, and merchants are identified automatically.
Does it work with TSB PDF statements?
Yes. Structured exports are parsed exactly; PDF layouts go through AI structure analysis, and scanned PDFs are read page-by-page with AI vision — every date and amount is re-validated by code afterwards.
Is my statement safe?
Card and account numbers are redacted before anything is stored, the original file is deleted within 24 hours on every plan, analysed reports stay in your dashboard only for your plan's retention period (24 hours on Free), and we never ask for your bank login.
Is it free?
Converting a statement is free with an account (1 page per 24 hours). Paid plans add more pages, bulk uploads and AI web research on stubborn merchants.
