Skincare / telehealth subscription
How to cancel your Curology subscription
Curology is a prescription skincare subscription: a licensed provider prescribes a custom formula that ships and bills on a recurring schedule. You can cancel online at any time, but because each bottle is pharmacy-compounded to order, a shipment that has already been processed still bills and ships — cancellation only stops future orders. Curology's own guidance is to cancel at least two business days before your next scheduled shipment.
On your statement it usually appears as CUROLOGY, CUROLOGY.COM, CUROLOGY INC. Not sure the charge is really Curology? Identify it first.
Cancel from your Curology account
- Log in at curology.com in a browser.
- Open the account dropdown menu and go to the payment/subscription page.
- Scroll to the bottom and click "I want to cancel".
- Answer the follow-up questions and select a cancellation reason — Curology will offer to pause or postpone shipments instead; decline these if you want a full cancellation.
- Confirm, and save the confirmation screen or email.
Do this at least 2 business days before your next scheduled shipment date, which is shown in your account.
Cancel by email
- Email support@curology.com from the address on your account.
- Ask them to cancel the subscription (not just pause it) and include your account name.
- Request written confirmation of the cancellation and keep it.
Useful if you can't log in or the online flow errors out.
Refunds, timing and what you'll still be charged
Curology's official support pages confirm you can cancel on your own at any time — the “I want to cancel” link sits at the bottom of your subscription/payment page — and that subscription changes (including cancelling before a refill) need to be made via your dashboard or by emailing the team at least 48 hours ahead of a new shipment. Shipped orders can't be cancelled, returned or exchanged, so a box that's already processing will still bill and arrive. If you'd rather talk to someone, Curology's support line is text-based: 415-200-2060.
Watch out for these
- The two-business-day rule is the trap: cancel too close to your ship date and the next bottle bills and ships anyway, with no refund once the pharmacy has processed it.
- The cancel link lives at the bottom of the payment page as "I want to cancel" — the flow pushes pausing and postponing first, and a pause is not a cancellation.
- Pausing only delays billing: a paused subscription automatically bills again on the next order date (pauses run up to about 3 months).
- After cancelling, you lose normal access to parts of your account, which can make it harder to pull records for a dispute — screenshot your billing history before you cancel.
Cancellation flows change — confirm against Curology's current account or help page (official help).
After you cancel: make sure it stuck
- Confirm the account shows no upcoming shipment or next order date.
- Keep the cancellation confirmation email; if one doesn't arrive, the cancellation may not have completed.
- Check your statement at the next scheduled ship date to confirm no new CUROLOGY charge posted.
- Generate a paper trail with the free cancellation-letter tool — useful if billing continues and you need proof.
- If it keeps charging after you cancel, follow the escalation playbook before disputing.
While you're at it — find the ones you forgot
Curology is rarely the only recurring charge. Upload a statement and find every subscription — trials that converted, quiet price rises, duplicates — each with its yearly cost, so you can clear them in one sitting.

Curology cancellation FAQs
I cancelled Curology but was still charged. Why?
Almost always because a shipment had already been processed by the pharmacy before the cancellation took effect. Curology requires cancelling at least 2 business days before the scheduled shipment; anything after that bills and ships. If the charge posted after a properly completed cancellation with no pending shipment, email support@curology.com.
Can I get a refund from Curology?
Not as a matter of course — purchases are final sale and processed shipments aren't refunded on cancellation. Curology has a satisfaction guarantee covering eligible cases under its published refund policy, so check that policy or contact support if your situation fits.
Is pausing Curology the same as cancelling?
No. Pausing stops shipments temporarily but the subscription automatically bills again on your next order date. If you want charges to stop permanently, complete the full cancellation flow and get the confirmation email.
Can I cancel Curology by email instead of online?
Yes — email support@curology.com from your account email and ask for cancellation with written confirmation. The online flow is faster, but email works and creates a paper trail.
Why is CUROLOGY on my bank statement?
That descriptor is Curology (skincare / telehealth subscription). If you don't recognise it, confirm any charge with our free lookup before cancelling or disputing — descriptors often name a biller or platform rather than the service itself.
Curology is still charging me after I cancelled — what now?
First check you cancelled in the right place: if you subscribed through Apple, Google, Amazon or a TV provider, the service's own website can't stop that billing. If it still charges, keep your cancellation confirmation and follow our guide for a subscription that keeps charging after you cancel — and only dispute with your bank as a last resort.
