How to cancel your Whitepages Premium subscription
Whitepages Premium is the paid tier of the Whitepages people-search site, and it is a classic trial-converts subscription: many people buy a single report or a low-cost trial and are then auto-renewed onto a monthly plan. Charges appear on statements as WHITEPAGES INC alongside a toll-free support number. Cancelling means turning off auto-renewal in your account or calling support.
On your statement it usually appears as WHITEPAGES INC, WHITEPAGES. Not sure the charge is really Whitepages Premium? Identify it first.
Cancel auto-renewal in your account
- Sign in at whitepages.com (or premium.whitepages.com) with the email you used at signup.
- Open the My Account menu in the upper right corner.
- Go to Purchases & Billing, then Subscription Status.
- Click Cancel Auto-Renewal and confirm.
- Keep the confirmation email — access continues until the end of the paid period.
Cancel by phone
- Call Whitepages customer support at 800-952-9005.
- Give the account email and ask them to cancel the subscription and stop auto-renewal.
- Ask for an email confirming the cancellation.
- This is also the number to call if you never knowingly created an account — support can locate the subscription from the charge.
Cancel an app-store subscription
- If you subscribed through the Whitepages iOS or Android app, cancel in Apple's Settings > Subscriptions or Google Play > Subscriptions.
- Whitepages cannot cancel app-store billing from their side.
Refunds, timing and what you'll still be charged
Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not automatically refund the current period — Whitepages states you keep access to paid content through the end of the billing period. If you were charged after a trial you thought you had cancelled, or renewed unexpectedly, call 800-952-9005 and ask for a refund of the most recent charge; outcomes vary by situation. If the company confirms cancellation but charges continue, a card dispute for the post-cancellation charges is the fallback.
Watch out for these
- The cheap single-report or trial offer converts to a recurring monthly subscription unless you cancel — this is the most common source of surprise WHITEPAGES INC charges.
- Cancelling auto-renewal is not the same as deleting your account; the account (and your card on file) persists unless you remove it separately.
- App-store subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple or Google — the website's cancel button won't touch them.
- People sometimes don't recognize the charge because a family member ran a one-off phone or address lookup that started the subscription.
Cancellation flows change — confirm against Whitepages Premium's current account or help page (official help).
After you cancel: make sure it stuck
- Confirm you received the cancellation email and that Subscription Status shows auto-renewal off.
- Check your statement after the old renewal date for any new WHITEPAGES INC charge.
- If you don't want the account at all, separately request account deletion and card removal after the paid period ends.
- Generate a paper trail with the free cancellation-letter tool — useful if billing continues and you need proof.
- If it keeps charging after you cancel, follow the escalation playbook before disputing.
While you're at it — find the ones you forgot
Whitepages Premium is rarely the only recurring charge. Upload a statement and find every subscription — trials that converted, quiet price rises, duplicates — each with its yearly cost, so you can clear them in one sitting.

Whitepages Premium cancellation FAQs
What is this WHITEPAGES INC charge on my statement?
It's a Whitepages Premium subscription. They state charges appear as WHITEPAGES INC with a toll-free number. It often traces back to a one-time people-search report or trial that auto-converted to a monthly plan — call 800-952-9005 if you can't find the account.
I only bought one report — why am I billed monthly?
Single-report and trial offers enroll you in a subscription that renews automatically unless cancelled. Turn off auto-renewal under My Account > Purchases & Billing > Subscription Status.
Does cancelling end my access immediately?
No. Auto-renewal stops, but you keep Premium access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
How do I cancel if I can't log in?
Use the password reset with any email you might have used, or call 800-952-9005 — support can locate the subscription from your charge details and cancel it.
Why is WHITEPAGES INC on my bank statement?
That descriptor is Whitepages Premium (people search). If you don't recognise it, confirm any charge with our free lookup before cancelling or disputing — descriptors often name a biller or platform rather than the service itself.
Whitepages Premium is still charging me after I cancelled — what now?
First check you cancelled in the right place: if you subscribed through Apple, Google, Amazon or a TV provider, the service's own website can't stop that billing. If it still charges, keep your cancellation confirmation and follow our guide for a subscription that keeps charging after you cancel — and only dispute with your bank as a last resort.
